Driving habits I learn every day. The variation is massive here. This is not a monotone society like the UK. People are programmed so badly there. Here... you have no idea what you'll bump into! It's an experience and a half.

Pakistan for me is adventure land. It's the real world.

just one correction ... a six speed rx8 is going no where from a 300g mark x. checked it several times with 6spd 5spd stock rotaries 6spd 2jzge, only 1j twin turbo rx could keep up but still 300g was ahead.

250G, not 300G.

The 300G is a really nice quick machine with excellent efficiency and consistency from the engine.

No way can any RX8 keep up with one of these torquey engined cars.

The 300G slaps most of the Mercedes and BMW's here even with the same sized engines.

This engine definitely has over 220hp and sounds clean. Very surprised it doesn't use as much oil as I thought it would.

1000 Horses Supra As We Speak Is In KHI...! 1JZ Swapped RX-7 Was Also Around 800-900 Last Time I Check...They Are Dyno'd In ISB...Some Crackhead Built Civics With Nearly 600 Horses Also......We Have No Of Supras Increasing In KHI...! GTR's Are Rare..Only FEW.. 1JZ/2JZ Swapped Cars Are In Dozens Here Roaming Around As Sleepers In All Kind Of RWD Platforms....From Old Skool YOTA's To MAZDA's....

Lahore has a lot of cars but the cream is in isb, db9, continental gt, gtr, gallado, 599, 360 modena and many more. Pakwheels has annual car shows in all the big cities, keep yourself posted to those and you will meet plenty motorists.
That and there is currently a vintage car rally enroute from Karachi to Peshawar which will have car shows in major cities including Lahore, you get to meet many motorists there and will get to see lots of the classic car scene of Pakistan.

i think u should strictly stick to suggested grades and specifications of the oil for rotary, because in case the oil is of better quality or synthetic nature it wouldn't allow the engine to break its bond (as actually intended) and this might be the reason of less reduction in the topup level.

The recommended oil is really not for this climate. There's a huge amount of research on this front on the international sites and information from engine builders.

It uses the correct amount of oil for an RX8, I just thought it would be worse. Coming from an E39 M5!

Does anyone know where i can buy Coils, ignition leads, spark plugs etc? I don't have my tool with me here so I cannot really work on the car.
Anyone out there work on these cars without scratching and denting and revving the car?

Most of the workshops here are plain horrible.

Nice choice of vehicle, respect. My first job as an apprentice at a garage was to assist the mechanic in rebuilding a rx8 engine... parts he brought himself from Greece, stronger internals.... loads of vaseline and swearing. Small apex seals... fat fingers, you get the idea.

Take care of the car, it's a gem!

The car is very entertaining on the roads of DHA. Very slippery, very very interesting around bends and there are plenty of those.

I have been absolutely fine on the ring road and going to Islamabad and Sialkot. Actually very good roads.

The UK's roads for the kind of cars I owned were also the same, speed humps, cracks in the roads, pot holes. Very used to it.

Just gotta plan your routes.

I would behave the same with even a big 4x4 lexus, they get even more smashed up due to the stress from the extra weight.

The unpredictable traffic has already had a mouth full from me.

I do not think there has been a day I haven't got out of my car. It's becoming a pass time now

The single worst people are the drivers of the ones that can afford them. They are the real problem as are the carry dubba with kids in them. These people are the ones I just cannot get enough of.

Done protesting on the internet, I am literally just getting out of the car and saying what I want now.
