Umair here from Islamabad. I've been a silent viewer of pakwheels since earlier this year and finally made this account upon the forcing of my dear cousin Omar (airomerix on PW)

I own 2006 VTi Manual. Brought in September 2006. It is from the first lot of Civic 1.8 in Pakistan. Currently it has been driven around 3,94,000 km which most of you people will find amazing for a honda civic.

So far this car has been trouble free and has proved itself a very very reliable.

Things replaced so far in the last 5 years

1) Rear Shocks
2) Brake pads (Multiple Times)
3) CAT removed at 1 lac km back in 2007
4) Fuel filter replaced at 2 lac km.
5) Oil/Air filter replacement along with mobil oil and other standard procedures.

For the rest, Pics will do the talking.

As for odo meter reading, I reveresed it two months back when I had to claim my isurance and according to their policy they donnot cover the car which has been driven more then 2,50,000 km thus I reversed it to 1,90,000 all the way from 3,60,000 km.

Yes Sir it was replaced at around 200,000 km.

Fuel filter is taken out after removing the rear seats of civic and believe me when it came out the dust was NEVER ending. I tried to clean it aswell and after an hour of cleaning the heavy dust was still coming out and then i gave up and brought a new one. You can get the idea of the quality of fuel we get here.

Guys in person this car is even more stunning and amazingly it still drives like new.

So honda is not far behind in the bench mark of 'reliability' and 'durability'. This car is speaking itself. A lucky car just needs a hardworking and caring owner which Umair is. And im so proud of him right now
