they are not new, lauched in 2006 given to police mafia and most of them are seen during the VIP visits.

These police cars are rarely spotted in karachi, unless as some one stated earlier only when VIPs come to the city. Furthermore i believe the motorway police has the same vehicles, so it could be possible that its from there.

These arent the police's cars. They're rented out for special occasions from rent-a-car companies when foreigners come to Karachi. The lights are velro'ed on, the stickers are peeled off, and the plates are generic.

If you remember back during the Arms Expo in Karachi, they hired 20 or so Corollas to impress the foreigners.
