New price of swift

a brand new 10 vitz in 11 lacs would be a very good buy

i dont know y people compare suzuki wid awesome toyota n honda ......... is swift have drive comfort, safety n build quality like gli n honda?

Whoose comparing it me or you??? i just compared how the prices have gone up is justified.

I own a Toyota Vitz, and bought it over a Cultus, but that doesnt means i close my eyes.

And get a Life, Swifts a 1.3L manual tranny while a Vitz is 1.0L, The local swift lacks airbags, it wud have been great if they had offered it with airbags.

The situation will improve only if
Suzuki makes a good quality sedan here
Toyota/honda makes a good quality hatchback here
Both doesnt do the above said instead more manufactures are allowed to make their competitive cars here
But i doubt anyone of the above is going to happen
so all of you stay calm and see whats going to happen next

Price Tag has never been justified,
and it not only applies to Suzuki only, each and every car is heavily overpriced these days.

i haven't driven it ma self. but had a ride.. yup the finishing is gud.. spacious but not as like vitz
i dont regret its a gud car,,. its a successful model of suzuki... but u cant compare it with vitz of same price and class....

I agree once again that swift,s rear leg room is pathetic,
but lets compare it with a vitz
the only thing it lacks are the airbags I guess,
If Im missing something then please add it here.

6 front light adjuster
7 push to start optional many vitz have it
8 back view cam many vitz have which even dont have reborn

is these features swift have????

not much powerful engine then vitz... and airbags makes a hell difference... and i hav seen some vitz with climate control too.
and the finishing and interior quality is far more gud then the swift.

It is being manufactured here in Paksitan,
The build quality and the QC standards that we have got here in Pakistan, you all are well aware of them.
Keeping in mind all the above factors "Why cannt you guyz just appreciate Pak Suzuki for the bold step they have taken?"
Compare the build quality of the swift with Mehran,Cultus,Bolan etc,
Do you find any difference?

and the ABS+EBD with 15" factory fitted Alloys
A Jvc 2 Din deck, pre installed fog lights, Keyless entry.

i agree that pak suzuki have taken a very gud step... swift's build quality is much better than all suzuki's models n i luv that car.......i m just try to say that people should not compare swift wid vitz.....thats all regards

Look it, if it will make you sleep better at night... YOU WIN!.. Im not out to prove that the swift is better than vitz. Vitz is a far superior car than the local Swift. Everyone knows it, even the ones that own swifts know it.. It was manufactured with much higher quality standards.
Do you think if Indus Toyota started manufacturing the Vitz in Pakistan we would get the same product? It would be completely stripped of all the goodies and would be a completely basic model. You cant compare imports with locals.

But that doesn't mean every opportunity be used to downgrade a Suzuki b/c it is inferior. A lot of people can only afford what the local market has to offer, and your comments are not fair to the average joe who spend his hard earned money to buy a car that he is satisfied with and then to read you defaming it every chance you get.

BTW, i don't own either a swift or vitz. Im just standing up for the Suzuki owners
