New price of swift

I was astonished to read other day that pakistan is the only country in the world where suzuki cultus is still in production !!! In other countries it stopped production in 2004,(it is generation II suzuki cultus), its variant in india stopped in 2007.
Swift is a newer version which started in 2005 but came here in 2010, but still it is a good vehical with good quality and specifications which XLI doessn't has.New version of swift is still not for sale and will be on sale is fall this year, but it has no major difference with this swift.

Cultus, Cuore, Mehran, Alto(carby engined). These cars are not in production nor being sold in any country in the world asides from Pakistan. Furthermore, somebody pointed out some time back that the Pakistani cultus version is actually a very old variant of generation II suzuki cultus.

is swift have drive comfort, safety n build quality like gli n honda?

no offence bro. there might be a little difference in drive comfort, but i dont see anything known as safety and built quality that GLI has which the Swift doesn't... as far as GLI is concerned its SAFETY and BUILT QUALITY doesnt impress me at all (a swift has those features as well like ABS only); however, the thing which impresses me is its GIGANTIC size that after sitting in it, all local cars seem to be smaller in front of it and thats it man..![/QUOTE]

yes bro swift is a gud car but i think that gli has better build quality ....:S

The swift in Pak is facelift which was launched by suzuki global in 2007

But the indian swift new model has a newer K-series engine.

Honda pakistan has done better comparing to others in technology transfer
Toyota not far behind though on second number and for suzuki theres a lot work to do

But look at this sales figure, Suzuki rank first, Toyota second and Honda is third.

So tell me ppl, we are complaining about zero technology transfer but how many of us can afford that? Honda transfer, sales is bad. Suzuki didnt, but sales is good.

So lets stop complaining about Japanese companies not transfering technology, they are not because we encourage them not to!
Maybe its time we stopped blaming others and start asking ourselves whats wrong with the problem!
