nothing wrong in making fan direct because it just takes puts some extra load on battery but as its a mehran, and being in hot climate the engines of these PKDM vehicles need continuous cooling and there is no harm in making fan direct expecially for mehran. but those who say thermostatic valve should be removed are jaahils. they dont even know the basics of thermodynamics. it opens and closes with temp variation and is very necessary for optimum burning of fuel at optimum temperature otherwise without t-stat engine misses in cold start.

well i own a mehran too.. having auto fan.. very comfortable with ac and no sound when fan is off..

ya i realize it but usually my last battery lasted 2 years with AC and Direct fan. So, after two years of continuous service its not a big deal in getting a new battery and that too after disposing old one.
Secondly As far as fan is concerned its working very fine and nothing happens to these denso japanese fans except motors gets a bit weaker but a relay can work for increasing current supply. and i also have got 99 khyber's JDM Spare condensor fan at home. so its not a big deal in running it direct

yeah but just after T-stat is opened it will start cooling engine which if on auto mode does not start and usually start after 50 % mark on temp guage. so it will not let temp guage touch 50%

Agreed. Direct FAN might get faulty due to continues running.

Ideally fan should work in tandem with the T Valve.

Please make it an automatically operated fan as per OEM settings.

why would automakers bother to make a mechanism to let the fan run when required?

as for the load part, since you are a technical person, i suggest that you attach a voltmeter to your car battery, start the car. and for a moment, just shut off the fan.

You might notice the engine spin slightly faster, that is because now your alternator is putting less load on the engine.

In winters, you may also experience a longer warm up time.

senden ac factory fitted
volt stabilizer isntalled , NGK Platinium plugs , Silicon 8mm wires , groundings..
AVG 20km/L long and 17 km/L city
fan auto T-stat installed as per factory no alternation..
Ac is chilling at night and evening and good cooling at noon ..
having original battery since i buy this car and meter shows 91071km today...
Amp with 4 sony speakers and xlpod pre..
No CNG.

fan always turns on when u hit ac button.. so no need to direct it .. your fan automatically turns on when you turns on your ac..

well thats nice explanation turbo. i have installed brand new Denso Ac in it and its a 2011 model bought zero meter. recently Gas was off due to leakage in reciever/dryer pipe and i replace it and then refilled geniune American R-134 honeywell genetron gas in it at home and its giving exceptional performance with super chilled cooling believe me in even scorching sunlight. i have kept gas cylinder (green) at home and i know how much Ac technicians loot innocent people who lack knowledge.

and margallar i know that the more current out of battery the more load on alternator and ultimately on engine but i still prefer to go for direct because of Ac use.

this week serviced my ac after 2 years .. gas was stilled full in it. but i need to clean evaporator and condenser.. other wise it was fine ..

if your system is good you dont need to refill gas time by time..
