At present Mahindra doesnt have any significant market share here. When they initially launched here some 6-7 years back they had a good response but their market share has dropped significantly since then.

The current models on offer are the Scorpio, Bolero, Xylo and Thar. Now of course the new XUV500 which is hoped to be their flagship and to lead their sales revival. There is also a plan to start local assembly of at least one of their models for the SA market and for export to the rest of Africa.

The starting price for the XUV500 4x2 is around $29,000 while the top of the line 4x4 version will sell for about $36,000.

Well I am not satisfied with Mahindra XUV. The features available in Mahindra SUV are available in Tata Safari Strome. The engine of both the SUV perform's at same level. The mileage of Safari strome is quite impressive as compared to Mahindra. So, for me its satisfying Tata Safari Storme. From the pics presented here are not so much impressive. And the most important aspect, the cost that makes Tata Safari Strome more superior than Mahindra XUV.
