Dear friendsI have new cults 2018 vxl. It is about 25 k driven. From last 5-6 ks the first gear is beeing hard while shifting from 2nd and specially from 3rd hear. The gear gets soft when the car is heated up but the problem is not solved hundred percent. I visited Suzuki Shalimar motors and they suggested to change the gear oil and asked me to put zic which is thinner than the genuine gear oil. I ask that if the problem is not solved then and he replied that then we will call the engineers from Suzuki and he will suggest what to do. what should I do now should I go to another mechanich please let me know if you know any good mechanic course he must be authorized. Or if you know any less invasive way please let me know. Thanks in advance.
Dear as manual suggested use below mentioned grade oil Suzuki genuine Oil (SGO). Change the oil completely and see if issue still persist or not.Moreover I am surprised to know that Szuki is suggesting Zic Oil . Change the dealership if possible and diagnose the issue before transmission breakdown or engine has to bear wear and tear at higher rates.
Plz tell me that when to change gear oil
change to fully synthetic gear oil 75w-80.
u can get kixx and zic fully synthetic gear oil with the above mentioned temperature range.
Please use GL 5 grade gear oil
