so my car has developed an issue, on bigger speed breaker and jumps the front left side of car makes severe CHOO CHOO sound almost like something either look broken or a worn out shock.

i am not sure how a worn out shock sounds.

upon me shaking the car from the front left fender the front left shock assembly makes choo choo sound when i make the car bounce harder.

car is 13k driven so far and has only been driven inside islamabad...i live in urban Islamabad

start from the 'shock mounts' whose screws are under the bonnet and on top of strut/shock assembly. usually that gets loose and it seems as if shock itself is bad. its just tightening of 4 nuts or breaking of this mount (hard rubber type like fiundations) and usually this is fixed.

My car has just crossed 10,000 KM should I go to the showroom for the oil change or can I get it done from the usual service stations? Would it void the warranty? And does anyone have an estimate on how much it costs at the Suzuki showroom with the manual charges as they are not picking up the phone..

Same is the case with mine cultus, driven 12k+. I went to Suzuki for checkup and they said, It's happening due to dryness of shocks. Mine gives same CHOO CHOO sound but not on regular basis, sometimes I hear that noise on Speed Breakers and sometimes there is no sound at all. However, Suspensions are fine no hard bumps etc..

Dryness only happens once the shock leaks. I dont see any leakage or oil outside the housing.

Shukar your mechanic didnt say to get oil sprayed under car next time you goto car wash hahaha. My oil change is due waiting for payday then paksuzuki guys will become my punching bag inshallah lol

Facing same sound... the sound lessens or go away in mid day /afternoon.. and icreases in early morning

17 Oct was the tentative date of my AGS but it's still under process and haven't receive a gate pass yet! Very disappointed on Paksuzuki. Paksuzuki can't still give accurate date on which car will get gate pass. Very annoying!!

Don't worry I called them ( showroom) recently... they said that it's plus minus one week. Most probably PLUS one week. Wese koi haal ni koi kch ni inka.

They are saying me the same thing but if they know it will deliver within a week, then why can’t they give exact date! They should know the exact dates of when the car will deliver. They have their own production unit in Karachi and still they don’t know when car will be prepared!
