Newly restomoded CJ7 (pics) with Toyota 3GR engline - Advice Needed

My CJ7 is home finally. Some facts:

• Frame off restoration from City Saddar Road
• Took a year and cost 2.0 million (whether they ripped me off is up for discussion)
• Toyota differentials, suspensions, axles.
• 3GR 3000cc engine (same as Mark X) with auto gear matted to 4x4 gear

Transmission problems:

• Sometimes it will refuse to move until I fiddle with the lever and 4x4 gear and then it will move
• The 3GR's triptonic gear's manual mode that does not work
• For a 250 HP engine, the acceleration is sluggish

Advice needed:

• Is it worth putting money and effort into fixing that gear?
• I'm considering replacing it with a manual gear with transfer case. Any recommendations? It'll be a daily driver with occasional trips to hilly areas.

you shall fix the electrical sensors to work on engine. means engine & ECU wiring shall be in perfect order. @dani_kk sab has fixed his own FJ recently. you may call and pay him a visit.

Download the wiring diagram for the particular motor and gear. Look for missing sensors and make sure the ECU is 100% compatible.
