Govt of Pak implementing Euro-II which mean vehicles with EFI engines only.
Since Alto is holding around 10% of suzuki sales, they decided not to make additional investment for EFI engine.
This sales gap will be covered through sales growth of Mehran (which is being upgraded to EFI) and Cultus sales.
Same formula applied by Toyota , they decided to discontinue Coure, since its investment for EFI is heavier than its portion of sales in company.
Further, OGRA already banned import of CNG kits due to which no new vehicle is being offered on CNG by Pak Suzuki.
