I am planning to change plugs of my civic 10th gen. Honda service centre is giving NGK plugs in honda packaging in 3200rupees and Same plugs available in the market around 1600rupees. Please, anyone, guide me which one is better for my car.Images of both plugs attached below
If part number is same then no need to buy from Service center, as they have to pay higher taxes , rent and wages therefore the pricing is adjusted accordingly.
Also, these plugs are available even cheaper on Pakwheels auto store.
The laser iridium plugs for civic 8th gen would cost you Rs7200 from the any auto parts shop. The one in the bottom picture are also original NGK iridium plugs that would definitely work for your car. Inalso have the same plugs in my reborn as well wroking absolutely fine. The only difference between laser iridium and irridium is the life of the plugs.
Irrespective Platinum, Iridium, Rhodium, Neptunium, etc. I would sincerely suggest to stick with the stock ones, i.e. part Nos. matching the ones mentioned in your car's owners / users manual.
