Hello.I want to apply for a driving license in Isb.Can anybody tell what is the main difference between National Highways and motorway police (NHMP) driving license and that issued by Isb traffic police (ITP) is it the same or NHMP got more advantages.I heard it it valid internationally.Moreover there is less crowd and lines if we go to apply for NHMP license.But the test is far difficult.Anyone with knowlg and experience,please guide.Will it be worth it? Test is really easy. Got it on my first try.. Don’t know about the international validity but I just got it because you don’t have to wait in queues. For ITP licence, you need Islamabad’s address on ID card. NHMP’s licence is open for all.

Can one get NHMP license in other cities?
Nope only in Islamabad. You have to come to Islamabad to apply and take the test. If you live in any other city, they can deliver to your address within 30 days after the test but to take the test, you have to come to Islamabad.

You can use your NHMP license in 54 countries, some countries don't require test just show them NHMP license they will convert it. But provincial license are not eligible for this. But Islamabad license is equally approved like NHMP license.
