@saadtn1 We have been there on car . We took car as far as it can go. Parked it near local house. Then we walked 45 min to 1 hour to reach this fish pound.
Some people have made it till the end on 125 bikes

So either you can go on bike or you can go on your car. When kacha pakka road start you can park your car and then walk.

actually onone cathes or eats these fish... its considerred a sin coz of the Chilas that Bari Imam Did in thesepools. thats y the numbers r thriving. its not recomended to try and catch the fish there.... warna locals ...........

Nicely explained ...... On a funny note i tried to give local boys some money to catch fish ,but they seriously refused ..

Yes u can , rent out jeep .which are actually Long wheel base FJ-40 Landcrusiers and can carry 12-15 people .

been there beautiful place . Tempting part was the fish in the pound.

My shikari tabiyat was tempting me to catch just one but that myth with the local no one dare that!
Which i think is good you don't expect fish at that place woh bhee enna waddi waddi

Bikes can go..but for car , still it is zulm to take ur car till few km on the track ,as now track is very rough

We paid 5500 rs round trip as JEEP COST for 15+ people .from ISLAMABAD zoo parking till Nilan bhotu and back .

No you cant go to imam bari mazar.. as its is very very tough ...as you have to hike back to Pahrilla village top of margalla hills ,then their is a serious decend of 3-5 hours to rumly valley or shadra village ....

fishes are gonna die eventually because they can not live forever, so they must be eaten, they are made for to be consumed by humans. Dont know why such myth travels there. but the locals can put up a law to catch them via fishing rods only so as to not disturb the ecosystem.
But still an excellent place it is

track is very rough ,4x4 is needed. cars cannot go ...yes jeeps are available on rent from last village on main road that is sangada village.For night stay , you have to carry your camps .
Fishes are not allowed ,as Hazrat imam bari peer ,forbidden local peoples to catch & eat fish hundred of years ago... Local says ,who will catch & eat fish will die next day...

No. there is one in pir sohawa before the turn to neelan bhotu for tea and snacks but thats about 1 and a half hour away and theres of course monal etc

Nice share..the place is really worth seeing..is it safe to camp n spend night at this place? Are there any wild animals there? Wats the charges for jeep from the sang village to nilan bohotu? Why it is called nilan bohotu?

It is green and solitary. It takes more than one hour from Pir Sohava (on motorbike). The way is beautiful but hard. The local people are really nice. Fish must not be caught as they add to the beauty of the place. If you plan to visit, please keep the place clean.
