Nissan ALTIMA price?

What should be the price of a Nissan ALTIMA model 1989-90
Left Hand Drive, Automatic, Patrol, Well kept vehicle?

1600cc :S.. its a nissan but the colete car name is Nissan "Laurel Altima 2.6 GT-S" has the orignal 2.6 v6 carby engine and in good condition.. talked to the owner, i offered him 200k for it.. but in return this is what i got "id this car wont sell for 300k, im better off burning it".. plus is teh windshield cracked? from the bottom? if thats the one then its a 2.6L or a 2.5:|.. dun remeber exactly.. but its a clean car never the less

Yes Danish ... its windshield is broken from the bottom ... and yes the man is asking 300k for it. ...... but he says its 1600 cc ...... do you know the owner?

i dun "directly" know the owner.. a friend of mine does.. my guess is he would sell the car for around 275k...MIN.. and no its not a 1.6L, its a 2.5L or a 2.6L.. ive personally driven the car, revved it to 6k. the sound from the dual exhausts was nice :).. its a good car, but the parts would be a biggggg problem.. the windshield is one hell of a job to find! :|.. i really like the car would have bought it.. but the parts bit tick me off :(.. no work in the engine needed.. jus a lil "fine" tuning is all i needs and a new windshield :)..

unless the owner swapped the engine :|.. but i highly doubt that! coz he is one "SHAWKEEN" man..

The car is presently in Gulshan. The present ownewr is a mechanic ..... he says that he has bought it for 250 K, has a customer who is willing to pay 275 .... but he would like to sell it on 300k. The car was orginally Lahore registered but now transfered in Karachi with a 'P' number, although its a single owner car. For a genuine windshield replacement he is asking 10K more.

and if its the same car do you notice the black carbon deposits at the exhaust mufler?

hmm when i was after this car, it was with the "orignal/first" owner :).. and "IF" the mechanic swapped the motor with a 1.6L i would advise u to rather keep away from the car :), because the first owner was willing to sell it for 300k as pass :).. and also.. i would advise u to "NEVER" buy a car from a mechanic.. i dunno its jus summtin about their cars taht "ticks" me off :). no how the rest is ur choice

Well the mechanic's workshop is in defence but he lives in gulshan. The first owner also lived in defence/clifton. I know the mechanic and I think that he may not have purchased it but he acting as a broker ..... keeping his commission in between. and if its the same car than it must be 2600 cc not 1600 .... I must have misunderstood or his tounge may have slipped. The mechanic i know is not in a condition of changing the engine ...... and I know he HATES alteration.

yup the orignal owner lives in defence.. then if thats the case, and u think u can handle the maintainence costs of the beauty then i say go for it (Y)

OK .......... I will go this evening and will try to finalize it. I will further check its engine capacity. and if it is not altered I will try to negotiate the price. The parts are expensive .... but the good thing is that they are all ORIGINAL/GENUINE.
How much may I offer him ? (as my last offer)
