These are the two grips, which are connected with dashboard wiring in N16 and contains the wiring regarding meter, AC panel, fuel pump relay, and other acecssories, so yeah, we have to wire it up.

Meanwhile, interior updates are, that seats have new poshish and it was a job well done by my trusted poshish maker...... I have used the premium quality fabric available and Molty-Foam fillings for them..... The results are simply great...

The timing side mounting of the engine has been fixed and it was very difficult to figure out which actual mounting was to go in. What I was told time and again was E15 engine bracket and E15 mount. But this was not the case as the E15 engine bracket had nut holes upside down and QG18DE has holes going into the engine head side. In the end, it turned out to be that GA15DE engine mount will be used which has same fitting for two nuts to be fit in with QG18 block and along with it, GA15 mount was used.......

So, timing side mounting issue has been resolved as of now and rear side mount is a bolt on.

However, we need to build the gear side mount brackets with body as this auto gear for QG is very big and its original N16 mounting is sitting very near to the main frame on the left side. So, mechanic has decided to copy its brackets from N16.

Yeah, as you saw and mentioned it, its actual height difference will be furnished upon fitting of the console. My only hope is that the guy at bilal gunj has provided me with a shift panel which comes across it and fits on the console has a curvature and protruding upwards, but that may not be too much. Let's see how much difference remains there. If it has to be altered, will sort out some fine way of doing that.

Saqib bhai this wiring has a data connector, which is situated right aside the fuse box..... I will get that DLC 3 Connector from N16 cut and will obviously place it at the same place, if I somehow found a solution to use the existing data connector wise, it would be fine, otherwise, i will get the wires straight from ECU and place that DLC3 connector under steering column neatly.....

Saqib bhai, connect to DLC connector GA15DE walon ko bhi karna chahiye.... that is the main reason in my opinion for not that much successful swaps of GA15DE. Don't know exactly, I may be wrong, but GA15DE wiring issues needs to be resolved for the most part to get that engine work good on petrol. Otherwise, it somehow manage to run lean all the time......

It is not exactly under steering coloumn. it is on the panel below steering on the left of u (nearer to central console) if u access sitting on driver seat.

Only you say thats swaps of GA are not successful. Trouble codes can be found by blinking method if DLC3 (or whatever it is called) is not connected. Your whole swap or tune up does not depend on that bunch of wires. So please try and understand things rather then just blaming it on one thing and making an excuse to spend lot of money

No not giving excuse for spending money, besides a good GA engine costs nearly the same as does the QG, you ask Mushtaq he quotes all three engines Rs. 55,000 (QG18, QG15 and GA15), so technically there is not the cost issue, yes with QG18 swap in B13, the cost does go up in terms of other little things, but if someone tends to wrap up things tightly, it will cost you 65-70k after adjusting your old engine in it.

One thing I do admit, I really could not keep track of things with my GA15 despite its wiring cleared, and check engine light with normal behavior, that is all due to inexperience for which I always am in search of......

A GA engine cam with this chassis. QG did not, so i would tilt more towards that. But your car, your money, your choice. Just keep things in perspective about all the choices being analyzed. You loved that front cut from day 1, admit it
