Nissan B13 Restoration

Since last few months, me and my friend are trying to provide oxygen pipe to a B13, and every now and then, it comes up that the oxygen pipe is not enough for it :P. So, we have ultimately decided to do a surgery on it and here we are.

It will be an interesting and long surgery, as car needs denting, painting as well as engine replacement.

1. QG18DE.
2. QG15DE.
3. GA15DE.
4. Restoring E15.

AC system also needs to be placed as well as seats will be either replaced or poshish will be done, which ever suits better.

23. OEM Front Grill
24. OEM Fuel Tank Cover

Car has reached the operation theatre and we have dismanteled some of the clothes and about to start giving anesthesia

We are planning to revive engine bay both in terms of structure and paint, structure to the most part is in good strength, while paint has deteriorated from most of the places...

Chained the engine upside down. I was very keenly observing and had bad feelings about this engine going out, don't know why It was going to be chopped down now in scrap market

I was thinking different things, that would better not be described here as paa jee ( @spectra ) would definitely do bisti so better leave them deep inside my heart

You have to bear it with me for some days, though we are surely going to do something about it as it will be a picture-heavy thread and I will try to take part B13 this time and will move forward to N16 of @spectra to fiddle with lol

Okay, now starting pulling up the engine after all disconnections.....

And then I asked "axles are off?" they said after pulling it a bit up, we will pull apart them..... I said I have not seen this procedure before, they said we do it this way normally.... It was not looking very right to me, but I was just kind of in no man's land. Told them If the axles recieve any damage, I'll beat them up, they said "okay" and whine and grime after that with each other and I gave them angry looks

Here they are trying to release axles....

After some effort, the axles were off, but one had a boot off, I asked this is due to your karnama ? they said it usually happens, I said to them stop this "usually" attitude and do what is correct way to do it be it need more effort.

I don't give those angry looks to anyone, and always pay the price :). But after the swap, I've learned a lot of things that you already know. So try to keep them on track right from start, else, they would compromise on quality on each single nut bolt level.

Its not them bro... they are simply "unreliable". You have to look and inspect everything, every job yourself. Otherwise, consider that job "bad done" in your book. They may do 95% right, but their 5% will give you time in life that you never wish to have

They tied axles with electric wires so that they are kept in a straight position as if they are connected with engine. appreciated !!
