Dear Friends,
Assalam-o-Alaikum, My name is Ghufran from Lahore.
We 06 friends made plan from Lahore to Babusar Top on Nissan Clipper 4WD 660cc on 12th October 2018 and started our journey from Lahore on 12 Oct 2018 in morning.
We folded our back seat and putted the matters in back cabin and it was like our bedroom for comfort travelling and sleeping. The rear cabin with folded seat and with mattress is much comfortable than sitting in car as 4 persons can easily sleep and also you can keep you luggage's easily.
We reached Mansehra in evening and stayed there for 6 hours with one of our friend living in Mansehra.
On 13th Oct we started our journey early morning from Manshera to Naran at 4:00 am and reached at Naran around 10:00 am in morning with shot stays in Balakot, Kaghan and some beautiful places of Kunhar River.
After breakfast at Naran we started our journey towards Babusar Top and we reached till Jalkhand only as the road was closed due to heavy landsliding and snow on Babusar Top.
The Security Forces told us that all check posts are closed and it is not safe to travel alone towards Babusar Top when there is no security check post. We returned back from Jalkhand to Naran in evening and stayed at Naran.
Also for food there is only 1 restaurant (Moon Restaurant) with very good quality of food and reasonable rates. Their rates with good quality food are much cheaper than bad quality food in Murree.
Specially Naan Chanay are very tasty and being Lahori we are fond of Naan Chanay in Breakfast.
On 14th Oct 2018 we went to Saif ul Malook Lake via Jeep as the track is under construction and the condition is very bad and not suitable for person vehicle.
There was snow on Saif ul Malook lake and we enjoyed too much and also enjoyed the boat.
On Sunday 14 October in afternoon we started our journey from Naran to Lahore which was our right decision as on 15th October due to heavy snow fall till Kaghan the roads was closed and people stuck at Naran which were rescued by Army.
Our tour was very nice and we enjoyed too much and also our car was fit and not faced any problem in mountain and high climb roads as our car was 4WD but we not used 4WD option as our car was very comfortable in climbing.
We are also planning to go from Lahore to Khunjerab Pass (INSHALLAH) wit hour Nissan Clipper 4WD 660cc in May-June 2019 when the roads from Naran to Babusar will be opened for traffic.
