Also check throttle body and catalytic converter, and if required, get them serviced. Oil filter and air filter must always be in top notch condition. Try to drive with soft pedal / light foot.
Always use 100% genuine fully synthetic engine oil from any well reputed brand, with API rating of SN and grade 0w-20 / 5w-20 or 0w-30 / 5w-30 (max.)
If transmission has not been serviced and oil replaced (like for 40,000-50,000 kms or more), then get it serviced too along with replacement of transmission fluid.
