Nissan E15 Fuel Pump Query

Okay, here is a question. I have got a car (B13) which has E15 in it. The engine is supplied with a small electric fuel pump right behind the carburetor whereas as per my understanding, and which I figured out today morning, that it has a mechanical fuel pump, which upon inspection, was found to be installed with the engine, but its pipes were closed with bolts.

So, what to do now ?

Should I go after mechanical fuel pump for my E15 or should I correct out the wiring for electric pump and make it permanent in engine bay?

As per my understanding, in the case of engine and parts regarding it, do not go for any alterations, go for the original spare parts related to engine, but the choice is yours. you can go for second opinion. First consult two or more mechanics (trusted), ask foe the opinions. Then do what is suitable for you.

If I Remember Correctly......My e15 Got Mechanical Fuel Pump Just Like E10s.....!

As per my knowledge mechanical pump can be harmful if they are leak petrol directly enter in the engine which can cause damage my relative faced the same problem ended up swapping the engine

@star2 bro if you are going to use your ride on petrol all the time then invest some money and get mechanical fuel pump....try to avoid chines clones and get a kabli pump with few days warranty...

if you will be using ride on CNG then keep on using this electric fuel pump...

you can buy the mechanical fuel pump brand new from a nissan parts shop. It fails due to being closed off in the supply line which causes the diaphragm to rupture from bad fuel and over pressure also.

Okay, so I think I should go with the mechanical fuel pump. I will check with the Nissan shop here in Lahore, otherwise, will get it from scrap market and will update the status here.

Yes Keep It STock And OEM Otherwise You Will ENd Up Overflowing Your Carb If You Go Something Bling

And Mechanical Fuel Pumps Don't Leak Until Or Unless Its Messed Up With.....Used Them Staright For Like So Many Years And Still Using...!

If u plan to use cng then keep on using the electric pump because replacement mechanical pump will give up after some time running dry. Previosu owner must have done the same after getting through a few of the mechanical pumps

Not intending to use on CNG and further on inspection, I have figured out that it is 3-naali fuel pump. Can somebody explain me what is the third naali for ?? As I can understand that one is for fuel in and one is for out.

One other thing, which I have noticed thus far is that the electrical fuel pump, which is currently installed is only intaking fuel. While the reverse line is cut and lying there vacant :(. It is a steel pipe coming from the tank i think. The same steel pipe which is bilateral to this cut pipe is attached with the mechanical fuel pump.

Okay, here as you can see one steel line is attached to the so-called fuel filter and one is closed. Does that the return line for fuel ?

They Become A Reason Of Distruction For So Many...!

For Fuel Pump.......Check By Moving It WIth Hand....It Should Suck One Side And Through Other And One is A Return Or Overflow..

aap ka koi problem hai hee nahin jis ka aap hal dhoondh rahay hein. replacement mechanical pump chinese milay gaa aur ziada tang karay gaa. laga ke khwahish poori kar le.
