Nissan E15 Fuel Pump Query

As soon as I came to realize the situation, I myself placed the car on deck and went underneath it and my mechanic said "ab kia ho gaya, koi naya kaam na nikal leyna"

And yes, it was there.......

Engine was not sitting right. It is going downwards from the timing side mounting, that is why it is touching that desi mounting and because it is welded from the gadri, may be the a$$hole who did this job did not find the original gadri mounting, he welded it, resulting in ruining the complete gadri. I "overlooked" it upon inspecting the car (the welding) and at that time, the timing side mounting was not touching the timing cover.

Also, i inspected from upside down the engine bay that the right side axle was something like in this shape /

So, here are my questions yet once again, despite fuel pump issue (which of course I am going to buy "new" and a "mechanical one" from Munir Auto, Lahore.

1. Does this engine "E15" sit on default foundations of B13 ? What are the changes if we put this engine in B13 in regards to foundations?
2. Should I go for replacing the gadri (most suitable i think) or should I attempt to unweld the plates and weld the mount on it, which is all rubber mount I think.

And yeah, I noticed there are now two holes on one side of the timing side foundation flap, one in which the current mounting nut is placed and second which is above it, lying vacant, most probably for the original mounting.

The original installation of the mistubishi branded fuel pumps in cars is great and not a problem. the issue is when some cheetah mechanic thinks he can install it inline after the fine fuel filter with nitto tape wiring direct hot tapped into the ignition coil positive wire.

That spells disaster. fuel pumps of this type are installed with two filters, one coarse type and one fine type and also have a dead man switch system to immediately kill the pump when the engine stalls even with ignition on. (e.g car crash)

anyway - star looks like you have bought a lemon, and dont worry about that cross member, either find a replacement or find a lohaar who can make you one. I had a guy make me a replacement radiator support crossmember for my VW Golf, he used the rusted sample and made me a brand new one.

For the engine tilt - check mounts and replace whichever are wrong/torn/worn. No use cheaping out on those.

You need to check the carb thoroughly as 3 line in Fuel pumps tells there shud be only 1 pipe going to Carb & no fuel return line from carb so in taht case most probably the electric pump can cause flooding, as u ar facing too. So the Mechanical pump shud be good repalcement subject to its manufacturing quality. I beleive if the Carbs has direct return to fuel tank then Kabuli Electric pump wud be the best repalement.
