Nissan GTR 2019 Model Import In Pakistan

Hi,

I have a Nissan GTR 2019 Model in UK which i am thinking to import in Pakistan. I have spoken to multiple people including custom agent and received mixed feedback. I have two options but not sure which to use;

1. Carnet de Passage

2. Custom Paid

I want to avoid all the hassle of CDP and would like to pay custom for future convenience. However i am unsure if i want to sell it in future then if there is a market for super cars. If I would be able to cover the cost of car + import.

Also i am concerned about availability of high octane fuel and maintenance. Are there any good garages to maintain the car?

Since it has been manufactured after 2017, YES, you can have it imported here, but duties and taxes will be very high.

High Octane is reasonable here.

Maintenance can be a very very big issue, as I think, parts of Nissan GTR 2019 UK model are barely available here.

You will have to source everything by yourself, either from AliBaba / Ali Express, etc. or via Japan, UAE, etc.

In general, Pakistan is not a good market for NIssan.

For Nissan GTR 2019, very rare.

My sincere suggestion is to sale your vehicle in UK, and not bring here. You might face resale issues, maintenance issues, etc. and your ride may become headache for you.

IN SHA ALLAH If / When you come to Pakistan, you may buy any vehicle from here locally, the makes and models which are "IN" in the market, drive, enjoy and then sell. In this way, you will not face any sort of troubles / losses, financial to be in particular.

And if you would like to go extra conservative w.r.t. resale and saving money, go for buying a very slightly used, well-maintained, neat and clean, already registered car, but then, just buy at a right price.

If you will buy any vehicle expensive, you will face resale issues.

Market for super cars is present, but it's very very limited.
Problem is that since your car is a 2019, the tax would be very high making it very expensive when compared to other GTR's in Pakistan (The newest one is 2016 or 2017 ig). The price difference might be an issue if you'll sell it later on.
High octane fuel is available everywhere, no issues in that.
There are a few garages that deal in maintainance of high end cars, take HPR in Islamabad as an example. They're maintaining Top-city's fleet which consists of Benz, BMW's, Brabus 6x6, Lamborghini e.t.c.
