Nissan Patrol Safari Jeep 1994 model engine replacement issues

Aslaamalikum dosto.

my Nissan safari jeep has TD42 Diesel turbo engine 4200 cc, due to cylinder block and cylinder head problem i decided to change the engine, as i had already did head gasket changing work twice, unfortunately it did'nt last longer as i expected.. as per the advice from my mechanic is to change the engine. he offers me 2 solutions installing the whole set the gear and the engine 6 cylinder toyota engine works on patrol. secondly v8 toyota lexus engine that works on patrol aswell..

i really need advice from the experts or those who had done this kind of alternations on nissan patrol jeep.
my concern is i really need an engine that is easy and repairable, easy access to spare parts avalibility, and ofcourse last longer.
i am not an off road driver... i never been to an off road trip.
please advice me the solution on choosing the right engine for my Nissan Patrol.

where are you located. I advice you to change your mechanic, he doesn't know anything if he couldn't properly fix the problem in the first go. Nissan and Mitsubishi are a bit more complicated than toyota, so not many know how to handle them, just like your mechanic. Find a suitable mechanic, get the same td42 engine for it, try to find a decent fellow to rebuild this if possible, swaps don't work usually, unless done properly and that requires immense knowledge and money..
