I am planning to to buy a family MPV(Multip Purpose Vehicle) with a budget of PKR: 6m and want to decide between two options both of which are reliable and Japanese Import and each one has its pro & cons as mentioned below:
Nissan Serena Highway Star
Model: 2018
Import: 2023/2024
Engine Variant: 2000cc Mild Hybrid (Not 1200cc e-power variant)
Car Variant: Full Option
Toyota Voxy
Model: 2015
Import: 2018
Engine Variant: 2000cc Hybrid
Car Variant: Full Option
With Nissan I am getting
- Newer model
- Less mileage on the vehicle
- Not driven in Pakistan if I get a fresh import
- More Options in the Interior like Cup Holders, USB Charging for all passengers, Multi-Direction Adjustable Seats.
- However, weaker Re-Sale compared to Toyota Voxy as per my understanding.
- In my opion Nissan has less agressive exterior looks than Toyota Voxy
With Toyota I am getting:
- Being Toyota it offers the best Hybrid System.
- More aggressive exterior looks compared to Nissan Serena.
- Better Resale in my opinion
- Older Model (3 year older than Nissan).
- More Mileage on the Car
- Would be driven locally. This factor would play an important role in my opinion considering the road conditions are not the ideal in Pak and locally driven car is likely to have suspension with lesser health than ofcourse a fresh import.
Would love an expereienced and expert advice/opinion to decide between the two. I may have missed a number of factors so please feel free to put them into perpective.
