Just read the Dyno numbers for the New GTR...A good 482 ps (475 whp) and 59.2 kg/m (428 ft-lbs) on Dynopack

..Looks like it has 550 at the flywheel..Daym....

It seems that the Japanese are upto their old shenanigans It was the same with the Supra, the EVO, and the older Skylines.

This is in sharp contrast to Europeans who quote flywheel figures, and that too sometimes without ancillaries. If you remember it was the case when the first time the AMG 6208 cc V8 was introduced.

I think this year with the introduction of the GTR. If I'm not mistaken, the introduction of a GPS-based speed limiter has "helped" the acceptance of a 200 BHP leap in the "gentleman's agreement".

May be they want to keep some surprise for Z06 nd 911 owners by keeping the flywheel figures low....
The R34 was rated at 280BHP something if my memory serves
me right..nd later on in real tht was around 330bhp...
However the Curb weight is 1740 kg approx..thy cud of reduced some weight to make it lighter.....

Who knows? They already have a lighter version in the making, let's see what does that do? If this is aimed at the 911 Turbo, the other one should be aimed at the GT2. Only time will tell I guess...
