A couple of excerpts from the AutoExpress website for the upcoming GTR and a couple of pics on the Nurburgring:

These are the best shots yet of what’s to become Nissan’s answer to cars like the new Audi R8 and the future Lexus LF-H – the all-new Nissan Skyline GT-R, likely to be introduced in autumn 2007 as a 2008 model. Snapped testing at the Nürburgring in Germany by Nissan’s motorsport department, the car features relatively thin disguising and yet gives away major details such as air-intakes in the front fenders and on the bonnet as well as two pairs of impressive exhaust pipes and a huge rear wing. Reportedly, the car will be equipped with a 4.5-litre V8 returning some 450 bhp.

:s oops! Suffice to say nobody has decided on the engine. It's gone from a 3.5 TT V6 to 3.7 then 3.8 and now 4.5 V8...

All is well and gud

but the thing that pains me most is that this car if has a 4.5 litre V8 in it its gonna lose its soul

remember guys the original skyline was 2.6 liter and KILLING these big v8s all around the world in all races

plz nissan think over it giv the world a small engined but technologically jammed packed r32 style r35

doesnt matter how it looks giv it a smaller engine

this car is just named "Nissan GTR"..it does not carry the skyline or any R3 tag anymore..datx a shame..the name skyline carried real respect in automotive racing..

skyline is supposed to be a s2000 sort of a car

I read in other forums tht it will b a 3.7 or 3.8 not 4.5 litre V6 TT producing 450-550bhp depending on the trim levels.
all speculations bt this will b one beast of its own..
