Nissan Sunny 1998 or Toyota Corolla 1988-1998

AOA Everyone,

This is my very first post so excuse if I do something wrong.

I need suggestion from you guys about Nissan Sunny 1998 or Toyota Corolla 1988-1998, which should i go for keeping in mind the parts availability and overall performance comfort, luxury, fuel economy of these two cars.

I have a budget of 650k and looking for a car that is economical + a sedan.

Keeping in mind the prices of cars these days, it might be hard to find a toyota corolla 1998/Indus corolla but what about 1988, is that a good car or a 'HATHI' to maintain?

Kindly help me with your opinions.

People in Pakistan prefer Toyota for parts availability and reliability.In 650k u will find 88 corolla and u will have to put some work in it as it's an old car.If the corolla has efi engine and is maintenance is done on time.It will give u 10-12 local and 14-16 on long depending upon how u drive.I have 99 rolla and it,s ac performance is quite good.About Nissan sunny it's owner,s can guide.

Off topic but what about Honda Civic/City below 2000 models.

Honda's r also reliable cars.In ur budget city 2000 model or civic 95 r good options.2 years ago these cars were not this expensive but now everything is getting expensive day by day.

Aoa all,
I have Nissan Sunny 1999 B15 so I can't give you the exact idea of B14, but overall Nissan reliability and durability are awesome. I have this car from last five year and I have travelled through out the country. The drive comfort is better or atleast equal to today grande. The mechanical parts are easily available in market, even a separate store is there for Nissan parts in Plaza. My 22 years old car has airbags, adjustable steering and seats, automatic transmission, retracable mirros, power windows and steering and much more and all i got in just 5 lacs. Now you can have it from market in less than 7-10 lac range. If compare with the toyota corolla, its a nice car too which has the benefit of better resale and availability of parts. So one thing is sure, both car will not disappoint you specially Nissan sunny (automatic 1.6)
