Nissan Sunny 2005 - crossing 200,000 KM

Assalamualaikum Dear Pakwheelers,

My nissan sunny is about cross 200,000 km mashallah and so far no engine over hauling no parts replacement etc etc.

It is 1300cc, i tend to mix hi octane with regular fuel, atleast once a month or so.

I am currently using Havoline Formula SAE 10W-30 for its engine oil.

I change the engine oil after 3,000 km. Fuel Mileage is 10+Km/ltr. No such problem with engine alhamdulillah.

Sooo my question is, as the car is crossing 200,000km mark, should I change my engine oil or stick with Havoline 10-30?

Andd should I add ceretac in next oil change? (never done such experiments before)

Great news alhamadullilah, i would keep up with regular oil changes and using hi octane fuel, you can add ceratec if you want to its a oil additive similar to slick50 do you replace oil filter regular as well ?
I would stick to 10w-30 if your car is not burning engine oil then this will be fine and offer adequate protection

You can add ceratec for added protection, but you don’t need to do anything if your car is running perfectly fine.

my dads 2013 civic just crossed 280k mark no problem Alhamdulillah as long as u dont use cng and change oil and belts/chain on time nothing will happen enjoy... i just got the front suspension work done all the bushes and both front bearings axel rods etc shocks springs and axel boots are fine uptil now

Keeping using this oil change it at 3000km with nissan or vic oil filter. Use coolant not plain water.
