rebuild the stock engine (E13S), you can get 13+km/ltr with ac from correctly tuned engine.
Nissan QG engines are tricky to wire-up you may also need to do surgical modifications for engine mounts

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't want carby engine anymore. I really want to convert to the efi because I am planning to use this car as a daily driver. So I really want a tension free ride and carby will be a headache to maintain. What fo you suggest should I go with GA series engine or QG series?

QG is EFI
buy an engine with matching ECU to couple with the transmission.

Visited a workshop today and got the total estimate of 6 - 6.5 Lacs for the whole project.

Visited Shershah today for engine hunting. Most of the shops were closed because of protest but found one shopkeeper who deals in nissan engines. He told me he has 8-10 QG15 engine available, he said that qg15 comes with two types of gearbox, 1 with card and other one comes without card and i have to get the one without card because "card wala gearbox apki gari ke saath nahi chalega har waqt mechanic ke pas khare rahi gi gari."
Is he right about gearbox?
He said qg15 with all accessories like engine mounts, sensors, catalytic, axels and other thing will cost me 2 lac with old engine exchange.

That gear is of ga15de it is a hydraulic auto gear with no sensors. QG15 has a electric gearbox which is powerful, responsive yet easy to maintain. Karachi has no capability to do such advanced wiring job so they usually get themselves far away from installing that gearbox.
You can send us the wiring and it will be ready completely with tags and tcm will also be provided with dropping resistor. You just have to get it installed. Helping diagrams and live help will also be provided.

Very expensive. I can send you this engine reasonably with all wiring done and start engine from Islamabad and you can get it installed there. Hi Subhan, your project seems interesting, so did u opt for 1.5 or 1.8? Did u also get resonators along with engine? How do u plan to go about catalytic converter and o2 sensors?

seems like the project is stuck. it could be either due to the painter or maybe the engine mechanic

Sorry for not updating. Car is still at workshop because of mechanical work. Started the car today for test drive but car is having some electrical issues. They think that overdrive is not working or gearbox card is having problems so tomorrow electrician will come to check.

I opted for qg15. It came with all sensors and catalytic converter.
