Hi Team,

I have Nissan Sunny B12 with QG 15 series engine. Fuel gauge of my car is not working properly. When the fuel level is full, gauge shows it accurately but with the passing time, fuel level goes down, the gauge starts malfunctioning. Usually it goes to empty. I have change the fuel pump 2 times but issue not fixed.

Can any one guide and refer to any specialist in Rawalpindi/Islamabad????

Why you change fuel pump when you are facing a problem of fuel gauge?

actually not only fuel pump but complete system (pump+gauge) which is placed in tanky.

Have you checked the wiring of fuel gauge.
And fuel gauge itself?

the electricians from whom i got it checked, as per them, problem is that tank is not EFi and thats why you have to change the whole tank. Unfortunately, i am unable to find the tank. Other said, change the gauge, it will work. I changed it but same issue. I want to know about any professional who can fix this issue once and for life time. I am from Rawalpindi. Any leeds for experienced electrician for nissan.

So the problem is when you turns, accelerate, de-accelerate or goes on a steep slop gauge moves right?
Efi fuel tanks have baffle in them. You can modify your fuel tank and make baffle in it. So fuel can stay in baffle and let the gauge work while moving or in low fuel.
