Salam,
So my Nissan Tiida's A/C is giving the following problems:
Upon cold start, it works fine for about 15 20 minutes ( or more if I keep driving at a high speed without stopping). But as soon as I slow down due to a traffic jam or at a traffic signal, it stops throwing out cold air (as if the compressor stopped working). Then I have to switch off the car (ignition off) and then back on for the AC to kick back in. Only turning the AC off and back on does not help. But soon, the AC trips out again. and I have to follow the same drill again. This usually continues untill I'm out of the traffic jam and have picked up some speed.
So basically, the AC trips and does not come back - occasionally.
It may appear obvious that is has to do with slow speed ( low compressor RPM) but I don't think so. When it's working alright, it's freezing cold even at idle. Gas pressure is good.
Any ideas what might be causing this? Looks to me like an electric issue.
Thanks,
