I have Nissan car 1990, i wants to install new EFI engine in it, i wants to take your advice in this regard that which engine i should go for,

TOyotal 16 valve EFi 1995
or Nissan 16 valve Twin cam EFI

which will be better in terms of
POWer,
SPEED,
Reliability,
COnsumption
and
etc

look in the electrics thread - there are a few members with very successful nissan swaps, and nissan engines have the life span of a hammer. They are very robust and powerful too.

To top it - a nissan engine will fit bolt on to your car, why opt for a toyota engine in which you need to do stupid alterations.

In case of swap atleast one should stick to same brand.

Nissan Twin Cam engines are very good. Only get Nissan engine in your Nissan car.

@poster i have nissan's ga16 swapped in my b14 sunny,as xulfiqar bhai said these motors are reliable yes they are.both are equally powerful but toyota has better after market support.
go for nissan simply.

Just Make Sure To Bleed Their Water System Nicely And Make It Free Of Air...Else You Can End Up Complaining About Heat up Issues...!!

i fetch around 14km/L with a.c.(with light foot).
and around 160km in 55kg cylinder.

neesan car mein neesan engine bhai , toyota wala engine alteration mangay ka aur car aur meray khayal say car stable bhi nahi hogi.

how are you???? I have NISSAN 1985, I newly installed Nissan Twin Cam Engine and its with Petrol, in that i have problems in starting, that will not start in one self. how can i set its starting. how can i adjust its starting... Or where i go to adjust it... and can i installed digital meter in it...

Dear Fellows . I have nissan sunny with engine G15 16 valve twin cam . Its consuming oil and after 1500km i have to refill with atleat 1 liter oil for engine. I need to change engine. What you suggest overhaul this engine or change. As fuel consumption is excellent. Everything is fine. No heat problem, Pick is fine. But on 4000rpm or 90km speed blue smoke comes out from exhaust. below 80km speed no smoke and very less oil consumption. One thing more there is leakage of chamber seal . Please let me confirm price of Nissan engine and expenses for overhualing.
