Nissan Twincam TB MAF sensor DIY

I had a bad TB and replaced a few months back. Yesterday thought of opening its MAF sensor and study it.

I got two things whose links were broken. One is temperature sensor and the other one i dont know... Need your help to get this thing working.

Please check the images and lemme know. 1st pic
Also, if it can be done or not... Either way i will carry on my experience.
One thing more, how can i solder the platinum temperature film to both the ends. One end is connected, other end is broken.

seems difficult, and may be if you are successful in connecting it, it may not work.....

anyways, an electronic guy can comment better on it....

by the way, i have also done the same with my throttle body while servicing once

I also had to replace that.... its a small wire connecting one end to the other, that was broken from both ends due to stroke of a tooth brush while trying to clean the throttle body....

do you have the old throttle body? somehow, i have managed to solder the temperature coil, now i need to replace the thingy in the first picture, if you do have the throttle body and if its useless to you, i would like to ask you for this thing whatever its called...

i will appreciate your help in this... i am just curious finding that why people say its not possible to repair this sensor... although i have a new one in my car, but wanna try it (H)

The problem in repairing it with solder is that in normal function it gets really hot - the airflow cools it down and hence the amperage changes in the circuit - thats how it works.

It might show you a working engine with no CEL but it might feel sluggish or dead or run rich.
