brakes of my mehran when i bought it in 07 were also like not there, but they improved gradually dun know how(pads changed once after 50kms).

now again when i owned another new mehran on 2nd of this october its brakes are fine, so i would suggest to go 3s to get em done.

@All: Thanks... yeah me too don't want to mess with my new car... I was just seeking suggestions. I may install Servo but after completing 5K atleast. Right now I think I should contact with 3S dealer to see if they can help.

What do you mean by live with it? Its actual cost is more than 6 lakh.Give him some proper solution instead of saying live with it.There can be some minor fault which can be replaced or fixed.Where as the security is concerned ,you talk about the car.. nothing is secure in this country even our lives.

well sorry to say but the car is not worth 6lakhs but since its the cheapest NEW car so people are forced to waste money on it

@slakr: Thank bro for supporting me, yeah I know there will be minor issue and it will be removed in first checkup. I just wait for first checkup.

do you feel brake pedal pulsations when braking at high speed or the car generally vibrates and shudders? If its the pulsations then it could be deformed or uneven rear brake drums or front disc rotors. it could even be uneven brake pads. try wear them out a little...

Brother whatever your decision is, best of luck with it. But I would advice you to get servo installed as soon as possible to improve braking. If I was in your shoes, I wouldn't risk my life to drive with extremely poor brakes just for sake of saving new car & its paint etc. ( anyhow the paint one is just a myth, my car hasn't got any paint problem neither leaked servo etc. ).

@All: I have just returned from 3S Dealer after my car inspection. It was wheel alignment issue, they checked the brake pads etc but front right Tyre was causing most trouble.

Now its working fine. About the brakes I feel its getting better with passage of time, as today I feel significant different in brakes from last couple of days. May be the pads are news and getting more grip as they got used.

Anyways again thanks all who took their time and give suggestion.

Yeah I guess so, because brakes grip is getting better as running is done, also the gear shifting is getting softer... in start I was feeling like running a Bedford truck... but now with passage of time its getting soft.

I think till 1000 KM everything will come to its desired condition.

Don't brake too hard for the first 7-800 kms, your car is new, every set of new brake pads needs to 'bed in' with the discs... Brake gradually and calmly for the first few hundred kms.

Servo installation is a good idea but install it after 2-3000 kms... You'll get to know the car better this way...

@Poster: Get used to Mehran by driving it slow for 2-months... Gradually increase the speed as when needed. Servo will / should work fine. but we call it alteration. and people looking for genuine cars don't like such changes. bottomline: get used to it!

Yeah I try to be polite with brakes... I may try Servo but after 5000 KMs. You might be right that brake pads were new so that's why it was behaving so weird. I only apply hard brakes for testing only.

one and only solution!
add pressure brake or i say brake booster u will find from bilal gunj or places like that!
and ur brake will be better!
