No car meets?

Why there are no car meets hosted on weekly bases in Karachi/Pakistan ? I mean like not car shows, more like cars & coffee. Don't you guys think there should be held ?

in the olden days PW used to arrange such meets, but the problem later on was the hordes of morons showing up and acting like lunatics.

The light discussions and exchange of ideas over snacks / tea.,

Such meet ups are of bygone era in Karachi @KamranAslam / In islamabad @Storm @spectra @rozzzzz used to be active hosts to loop people together, then the bubble punctured.

When things start to get personal based on religion faith and 'social status'.The people start to probe /curious about individuals based on their presence over forum, instead of admiring technical skills and help they can do in real life. That is when the real life interaction of PW members come to an end.

since past many years few of us managed to bond together - source is PW and @HanifBhatti saheb gave us the idea how to avoid / filter and keep poky nosy crowd at distance,.

to discuss ideas this is best virtual platform - everyone can offer input and suggest.

am sure there are select group of people across in every city who still interact / meet enjoy but they seldom share the event over forum.

Same goes with us, we used to arrange nissan, Suzuki meets but people either don't show up, and everything goes in vain.

Now only race crews setup meetups at night on weekends. Like today and Sunday night Islamabad groups are hosting meets for all built rides.

exactly specially in our cars community there's more fake and show off then real. people pay to get things done and advertise everywhere " i did it " .
Money and social status are more prior then knowledge in this country. zero sportsmanship.
