No CNG cars in Future

i have absolutely no idea as well..i have booked a new city in january and was planning to drive it on petrol, but with now petrol being for 105 a liter from april onwards, and expected to touch 120 a liter by june, i have changed my mind. i have now gotten so desperate that even went to see a new liana (a car which i "personally" hate) that maybe i can find some CNG fitted one readily available for delivery. but even they have given a wait time for like 2.5 months, and CNG RXI was like for something like 13.54 PLUS freight and all...i have ABSOLUTELY no idea what to do now as i just cant get the city and drive on petrol and no other CNG car i can find zero meter except liana, which isnt worth it anyways super super confused and depressed i m

My personal assumption is this, if this happens then smaller cars like Mehran, Cuore etc (used and new) will become more expensive (due to fuel economy) and there will be drop in used heavy cars market like 1.3, 1.5, 1.6 and 1.8 liters.

buddy! ever heard about the consumption of honda city, merc c180, bmw 320d??? all of these are more economical than mehran, alto and coure.

Nothing will happen...prices will keep escalating in pakistan...i fear within next 2-3 years, mehran price will exceed beyond Rs. 1 million while Toyota and Honda 1.3 will be available beyond Rs. 2.3 million. petrol will be above Rs. 200 per litre and CNG around Rs. 150 per kg.

Man... your condition is contradictory if someone can afford BMW or Merc then why he will care about fuel prices. By the way, that's not practical that everyone buy such cars. On practical grounds, after suspension of Cuore and Alto what other options you will have in market?

City and XLI even crossed 1.5 Million (damn), if someone can buy 1.5 Million car then theoretically he shouldn't be worried about fuel expanses. But on contradiction you will find many people installing CNG in Civic Reborn

long ago on these forums I told u to go for gli ecotec but at that time u were singing songs of JDM platz I guess

You never know a person putting in his all juma punjhi to buy a 1.5 million car.
CNG in civic reborn works like a charm, even better than corolla. If one cant afford petrol then y simply admit it like I cant afford petrol, simple is that now if CNG is bad for my engine then so what? there are precautions which can make sure that health bar of ur cng fitted remain green but ppl install cng n forget to drive on petrol ever and that will ultimately make u land in thick soup

Well everyone has his own thoughts, but what I think is that "you should drive the car, not the car drives you". A person should keep a car which he can easily manage, if you get in the race of Show off then there is no End to it.

Car is basic need of life these days not something for show off, now u ll say y not a mehran or any other small car so mehran are best for local commuting n not 4 long routes n specially not suited to my area ( FATA )

haha believe it or not people do showoff by cars, well it does depend upon your location and driving conditions. Definitely Mehran cannot do a good job in Hilly Area. But I don't understand the point that if a person can easily afford 2 Million Reborn then what is the logic of putting it on CNG (well that my personal opinion)

On of my friend put is Toyota Mark II on CNG and I was like :-! You are right there could be precautions to maintain your car on CNG but on CNG stations we even don't get full pressure

gli ecotec is STILL not worth it for the price they are charging for it plus...ecotec has been disbanned, so now its spares and tuning and everything HAS to be done from toyota auth dealers who wud loot us like anything.....and abt JDM platz, who says i m selling it in the first place..its still with me, and wud STILL be with me

PS : giving me 190 km per cylinder (55 kgs) regularly in local (with 30 percent AC on )

Believe me khanlala ,mehran does a good job in Hilly Area ,its like a parahi goat the thing is it should be properly tuned Your logic regarding having 2 million car and cng is pretty spot on.When a person can afford to buy car worth 2 million then for him/her there should be no problem to afford these petrol prices.2 Million is something..spending this much amount needs something.Believe me my father worked all his life ,he is still on duty ,its been 35 years --he didn't even think to buy this much expensive car because he don't have the cash for it so do I.People who has the money for these expensive car should never use CNG.They should run their expensive cars on petrol to save Pakistan.

I agreed with the view that here in Pakistan we select Car for show off not for facility or ride. Out society is deeply based on show off, we adopt many things only for the sake of other people.

It show off gone, our society will become heaven.
I have seen Mercedes Cars where CNG is working, even Parado and Pajero.

Consider local mini bus running on CNG, it need to alter entire engine and its average is not so good as compared to Diesel. I confirmed it from transporter, but still 90% of transport shifted on CNG, why?

buddy i was only commenting on how cars with bigger engines are better than mehran, cuore and alto. that is why there is a "P.S."
and one more thing its not necessary that if u can afford an expensive car u dun have to save fuel be it CNG or gasoline.

i have a merc. i used CNG on it for like a year but had to let go of it as u find cng only 4 out of 3 days in islamabad. if CNG is available then i would still run my car on it. not because i cant afford petrol but because i believe in savin money.

For the last three months suzuki is not making liana and how can they give you waite period of 2.5 months, its all black marketing
