AoA.. just been there at TCM they are not taking any further bookings of gli at/mt.. they are not even sure that indus will reopen the bookings or not.
I think the end is here!

All these rumors of discontinuing are BS.

Yes globally 1.3 is discontinue but not in Pakistan.

The booking for this fiscal year is full and indus has not given July allocation to dealers so they trying to divert customers to other variants because all they care about is sales.

Booking for gli and altis 1.6 still ongoing . Check vehicle availability and if it shows avilable in your showroom then contact Indus helpline .aapko agleye din dealer ki call ajae gi . But do go to showroom as well

Gli/Xli 1.3 mt is bread and butter of imc. Why would they stop it.

It is totally possible. They have to change 1.3 in order to give 1.6/1.8 customer some exclusivity. Needs to be done sooner or later.

Also globally 1.3 is discontinued so there might be a pressure to not pursue it in next model change.

Exactly, by the looks of it, it seems imc will discontinue xli/gli as Corolla variants for the next gen Corolla and introduce a smaller car with a 1300cc engine to compete with city. They will probably name that cars variants as xli and gli just like Suzuki have celerio the cultus name.
