Bro they are not coming in the "Limited Edition" but are of the face-lifted model of 8th Gen. The guy (Qasim Bhai a.k.a. Fireblade) imported them for his car. These are available in some shops as well. Anyways, the reason I won't go or these lights is that the first time I looked them (and that was long long ago), they didn't appeal me. I like the stock ones more. But thanks for the advice. Cheers!

The disc pads of NP-II had to get changed and before Eid as I was planning to go to Bhurban after Eid. Somehow, I didn't get time and carried on with my plan without getting the brakes fixed and the expected happened. All my way back, I had to bear the annoying sound of the disc pad's metal strip rubbing against the disc.

So, my advice to everyone is k aaj ka kaam kal pe mat taalo. Get the things done and checked before leaving for a trip. It didn't cause too much trouble for me but the car was grounded for a day as the workshops were not open.

Anyways, the car now have got new rubber to stop her when need arises.

First the condition of pads had to be checked. The front right one was fine and the mechanic suggested that they would serve more for around 10 to 15 thousand kilometers.

The tyre went back on.

Now the left one...

They were fine too.

Same treatment goes with the disc as it didn't require "tool".

The left rear disc pads were in pretty good shape as well...

The main culprit was the one pad on rear right side.

So the disc pads... The guy had original Honda disc pads and Nissin brake pads which he said are of the best quality. Out of these two, he suggested me to go for Nissin as they were being bought by most of his customers and he also claimed them to be pure Japanese and better than the original Honda ones and also that even they are not made in Japan and are mostly from Thailand. There was a significant difference in the price however. The Honda ones (rear) were for around 3500 PKR whereas Nissin were for 1950 PKR only. On his advice and written guarantee, I went for Nissin.

After spending a couple of hours in the workshop, NP-II deserved a shower. Took it to the nearest service station for a wash. And yes btw, on the suggestion of many friends and members, I changed the rear number plate to white one.

Your ride will look one of it's kind if you install 17" black rims with chrome lip.You shouldn't have painted the caliper.It's like copying Brembo calipers.

How many KMs on the ODO? Just want to estimate how much KMs the FF brake pads work....Dont forget to share after couple of weeks how these new Nissin brake pads are performing? Making any noises etc or not..

I was thinking of getting the same done on my Corolla at the encircled place.
But in this case the indicator is at the corner, and with the colour of the car it wont suit it.

A couple of hundred above 63000 kms on the ODO. So basically, the rear FF disc pads served this much. Actually, out of the rear 4 pads,only one was in very bad shape rest were still fine. On the other side, the front were not original so the previous owner must have got them changed.

InshAllah I'll update on the performance of the pads as well.

^ Actually an aquintance tried this shashka on his Altis in the same colour and it didnt look good.
