So, a few updates has been made on Gli. Starting with seat covers...

I ordered them last week, but couldn't get them on due to some commitments of the car, not mine.
I went for the closest matching print with the original seats.

They are not exactly the same, but still, pretty much close.

As always, I had to cover the head rests up.

The seat was getting ready.

Now this is a sticker that looks opaque but is translucent. It gives a smoked shade and is a better option to put on the lights than tints. This guy got this first sheet of sticker and asked me to put it on the lights. So I asked him to do so to see how it ends up.

The other update was regarding rims. Now, the options were limited as I had to return the rims to the shop from they were bought. First I selected a new set of rims for the car which were looking good on the wall. I left the shop and asked my driver to get it done and bring the car back. When I saw the new rims, it was sheer disappointment. The rims were looking even worse and very small with the profile of tyres that it had. So the very next day, the rims were again changed and another one was selected from the very limited choices.

I can understand your frustration regarding rims thats why I dont like after market rims shops once you committed with them you need to select from there stock. Luckily my santro and steermatic both had stock alloy rims

Did you try them on high speed I mean their balance, any wobble ?

You were lucky that your cars had stock rims on them. Gli doesn't come with rims so we have to do the khawari by ourselves.

They are fine on high speed. We can not afford any risk with the tyres as the cars have to go on GT roads every other day, specially Gli. The tyres were selected keeping the required service in mind.

He had the similar kind of sticker in red color as well. I saw one car with red tints on the light which were not looking good. Therefore, I didn't go for it.
