A Dig but since summers are around the corner, this will be one of the most "discussed topic"
I recently ran into some issue with the heater core leakage. Now its like the chicken or the egg got me to re asses my cooling system capabilities. So i hooked the good old bluetooth adapter and have been running torque since the last couple of days.
Here are the observations.
- Morning Temps .. without AC - 88-97 (97 after 20 minutes of drive in traffic and some 5k hits towrads the end of journey)
- Evening Temps .. without AC - 92 - 103 (103 being the max i reached at the end of journey during 5-7 minutes of idling )
With AC temperature stays between 90 - 95
Since the car is about 135k driven and coolant is also pretty old now(looks a little rusty due to water contamination )
I am thinking to get the following maintenance done from Honda
Water Pump replacement
Full cooling system service
Brand new Honda coolant
