Northern Areas Honeymoon Recommendation in Mid of August 2018?

Salam,

I am planning a honeymoon trip during first half of August 2018. I have around 10 to 12 days.

Please recommend which valley should I go for? Naran, Hunza or Kashmir? Or may be the Skardu area?

If Hunza, what is the comfortable way to get to Hunza from Islamabad. Which hotels to stay? And one should hire a Corolla for Hunza and Khunjerab pass or their are other options?

Mainly it depends upon ur budget, if u have to hire a corolla from pindi, it will take 3500 per day (without fuel) and average accommodation can be around 4000 per day.
Day 1: Pindi to Shogran: Visit Siri and Pae meadows.
Day 2: Shogran to Naran: Visit Lake Saiful malook.
Day 3: Naran to Hunza: stop over at Jhalkhand and Lulusar.
Day 4: Hunza To khunjerab: Attabad lake, Passu, etc
Day 5: surrounding areas of Hunza: Altit and Baltit forts, eagle nest.
Day 6: Naltar valley.
Day 7: Phunder lake
Day 8: Gilgit to Naran.
Day 9: Naran To Pindi.OR
Day 8: Gilgit to Balakot.
Day 9:Balakot to Keran (neelum Valley)
Day 10: Keran to Kel, Arang Kel: stop over at Sharda.
Day 11: Kel to taobat and back to pindi.

For hired Corolla : Rs 38000
Petrol: Rs 20000
Hotels: Rs 44000
Food: Rs 22000
Jeeps: Rs 4000

If u have been to these areas before than u can go by urself otherwise i would recommend u to go through a good travel agent because u can not afford to look out for hotels and other things when u reach at that location.

I am married and have been on a honeymoon in 2017 for 7 days. My advice would be, dont make it a hectic tour rather visit very few places and stay for more days. You can always do adventurous tours later. Honeymoon is about knowing one another. Go to a good place with good facilities.

That said, take Kashmir out of your list. It lacks the facilities and hotels that are suitable for families let alone honeymoon couples.

My suggestion would be Hunza. If its in your budget, take a flight to Gilgit from Islamabad. Else go to Hunza via Naran Kaghan ie Babusar.
