Salam guys!
We are planning to visit the northern areas of Pakistan in late August this year (~27 August to 5 September).
We have 10 adults with us, 4 children and 2 infants. We plan to reach Rawalpindi by train and then hire transport from there onwards. Youngest would be my daughter (5 months old).
TRANSPORT:
I currently have an option of
- Hiace recent model (6500 / day - w/o fuel)
- 2 Pajeros 90's models (2800 / day / jeep - w/o fuel)
Which option should I prefer?
ITINERARY:
I am currently planning:
Abbottabad -> Naran -> Fairy Meadows -> Karimabad -> Skardu
Not sure what route to take on the way back. We have interest in Astore / Deosai / Neelum Valley but don't know which one would suit better, please advice.
Are there any recommended hotels on the route? Any spots we shouldn't miss?
We would really appreciate your advice in planning this trip!
