Hi everyone,
I’ve been looking into the beauty of Pakistan’s Northern Areas and thought to ask here: what are your favorite hidden gems? Most people mention Fairy Meadows or Hunza, but honestly, every valley has its own unique charm.
Here are a few of my favorites:
Fairy Meadows – Stunning view of Nanga Parbat and the camping experience is unforgettable.
Cold Desert, Skardu – The world’s highest cold desert, and the starry night sky here is magical.
Attabad Lake, Hunza – Crystal blue water and boating that feels straight out of a postcard.
Khunjerab National Park – Right at the Pak-China border with snow peaks and unique wildlife.
Phander Valley, Ghizer – Known as “Little Kashmir,” with peaceful rivers and lakes.
Other less-talked-about spots include Rama Meadows (Astore), Minimarg, and Yasin Valley — each has its own story and vibe.
So, which hidden gems have you explored in the Northern Areas? Feel free to share your experiences (and pictures if you have them)
