Now back to some home like stuff in Egypt

We went to Sound & Light Show side today again but a tanga wala Egyptian convinced us to take ride on his shahi sawari as time is less and we wont be able to cover whole area on foot till 5 p.m.

So we took the 'a bit quicker' option and were able to roam around in backdoor streets of Cairo which we would have definitely missed in any other case

We got entrance tickets for the whole area and special tickets to enter the Great Pyramid for visiting the King's burial chamber within the pyramid.

The actual entrance to the Great Pyramid is the big gap in the middle of pyramid which is not used now to enter it.

Infact, the current entrance being used is a much smaller tunnel which u can see is the place where lots of people are gathering up in queues.

Current tunnel way being used to enter pyramid.

However, the actual way also comes down and joins this tunnel way so this tunnel is considered a bit of shortcut to the Chambers in the Great Pyramid.

Now we're rocking. Can't wait to see more pics of the pyramids. If i have one complaint it's that the pics could have been much clearer but you've done the most with what you got and don't feel offended, i hope.
