Hello. I am purchasing a 2018 car in karachi. surprising thing is it doesnt have number plates and had some fancy number plates instead. on inquiring with the owner he said number plates have never been issued. will this effect the resale of the car.
Yes its true, some plates from 2016 even are missing.
All you need is a certificate from Excise stating 'number plate not issued'. Can be easily obtained.
the owner must have in possession excise document stamped 'number plate not issued',.you may also check from excise office at civic centre for number plate status
