Yes it is THE way to go. If Romano had his way all VWs would be rebuilt this way.
To tell you the truth I am a bit shaky with this project as this is going to be my first ever such experience. But then looking back I remember a similar apprehension when we had first pulled an engine, overhauled the same on our garage floor, did the brakes, suspension and just about everything else! At the end of each experience we used to think....'was that it?'
Im hoping this would be such an experience too.
As a matter of fact I think I saw quite a big compressor at the denter's. Thanks for the offer for the sandblasting gun, I would love to avail it if possible.
Any reason you said it for small parts? I was hoping to sandblast panels too if I can.
