I have seen a couple of threads where people developed their own ECU's but has anyone done any work on the Oxygen Sensor Emulator required in case your CAT convertors are shot and the check engine light is on. The emulator will send signal an all OK signal to the ECU and the check engine light will go off.

What he's asking is, if a circuit / emulator can be made that would provide the ecu with a dummy signal that it would normally get from an O2 sensor telling the ecu that the O2 sensor is working fine, if the O2 sensor of the vehicle is faulty or if the catalytic convertor has been taken out.

u can buy 1 basically cars in whch efi system were introduced at early age like my suzuki baleno have emulator advancer installed in whch the false readng is send to ecu to foool it nd thnk injectors are still working whch are nt ths is only done soo car will run fine on cng 2 like petrol nd there is wiring for 02 sensors too whch is connected to 02 sensors from emulator my car has tomoseto lavelto sumthng like that emulator advancer...in short u can buy 1 frm market i dont knw if 1 can make it him/her self because its kind of pro knwlg whch requires soo much knwlg plus experience nd ofcourse special tools....u can buy it frm market make sure u buy the 1 whch has o2 sensors wiring to connect with to fool ecu...but real point is for hw long u can do ths????if u have faulty o2 senspors or catalytrc converter it will effect cars perfrmnc by many means soo does it realy worth it to send ecu fake signals about its working all right....
