The vehicle is build by GM , it must be OBD/EOBD compliant, Engine Code is F8CV , It has Siemens ECU and Conforms to Euro Emmission Standards .

Which protocol it uses ? PWM, CAN, ISO or what?

Anybody experience in OBD?

What is the Location of DLC?

Anyone using Scantools?

Anyone?

Well it's not like chevy is built by GM as it was built by daewoo and bought by GM. So it might be different from the standards that GM maintains for it's cars.

The EFI in my daewoo racer is not complaint with OBD I or OBD II. It has its own error codes. So I am guessing the same case is with daewoo matiz or now rebadged chevorlet exclusive 800. However dlc should be near the accelator as its there in my racer too. While we are at it, its strange even honda vti efi is custom, with programmeable rom known as PGM-FI, its also not complaint with OBD 1 and OBD 2 8-(.

Here is the snapshot of software giving real time info, wow that would be cool if i get the interface !!!!!!!

Search for F8CV on net revealed that the M-Tech Engine is Compatible, but I have to check it physically when i get my own chevy in a month time IA

This sofware also reveals that There are some Generic Error Codes, and Some Error Codes are Vehicle Specific, and Mainly there are many types of protocols ISO , CAN, and PWM etc . There is also an site http://www.elmelectronics.com/ that manufactures cheap OBD to RS-232 Convertors, which mean that A Laptop could be Easily Connected via DLC
