OBD2 not connecting with Toyota Mark X ECU through Torque app

Hi can someone guide me how i can fix this issue? The bluetooth is connected but it says there is some issue connecting to the MarkX ECU. Im not sure of the right protocol settings. Can someone guide ? Thanks in advance

You have to add a custom string in vehicle profile.

You have to use initialization string and you can do that by using torque pro app. Paste this string in vehicle profile>Show Advance Settings>Custom initialization String

I have to use this for my corolla 2003 on stock ecu and also the jdm ecu I am currently using with my swap.

I tried this but the connection to ecu is still not working. Ive looked up online. As this is a japanese model car only made for japan, only JOBD can connect to it. Not any other OBD2 it seems

No it's not like that. Because I am running obd2 on Japanese ecu without any issue

I think you are not setting up it properly. Or your obd2 adapter is bad

Still have this problem? I have the same issue.
Somehow no ecu is responding excerpt for the motor

And im trying with a original techstream for toyota
It doesn't read even in Japan configuration
