For which car, and what type of device you are talking about.
the simple cheap OBD bluetooth devices (worth 1000-3000 may not serve the purpose), but some expensive scanners can.
Looking for my Vitz 2010.I was thinking to order it from aliexpress, miniVCI cable.Though local market do offer cheap solutions of bluetooth, wifi and cable, max upto 2000 pkr. So you suggest, they are of no use?
They (Bluetooth OBD) are of use, but not for modifying the configurations.
Yes, MiniVCI cable will probably do the function.
Seting RPM, Tuning? Please dont waste your money. And leave the tuning setting RPM to dedicated shops.
You will just ruin the setup, Or Google codes and get tension for no reason.
They are good if you want to see the coolant temp and other specs such as AFR, mileage etc... And for diagnosing any codes..
Don't mess with ECU settings on your own.
Thanks guys I won't get it then
I have a Mini VCI cable, but i got it only for settings like door lock options, window close/open timings, roof/vanity light timings etc.
But still havent tried it yet.
Get a mini bluetooth OBD scanner from Aliexpress which will display live data.
